Why did you choose this product? Allows me to turn light on and off from bed, even though lamp is at a considerable distance from bed

- Large remote button can be mounted/fixed in-place
- Extended warranty: 5 years
- Works even if receiver/outlet is blocked by an object
- Works up to 500 ft.
- Surge protection
- Will work with any [small] electrical appliance
