Yes, you can make placemats out of shelf liner! We have received many shout-outs about how great shelf liner can be to create more grip on everyday surfaces (think at your sink, on a nightstand, or beside your desk). Purchasing it in a roll gives you the flexibility to fit this grip to your own spaces or needs. Want to know more? Read on...

Product Review by Ellie: (meet our team)

(scroll down for video)

Description: Roll of shelf liner used for placemat or lining in cabinets. Can wash easily in wash machine and let air dry. I put my plate on it for meals and it works great if I am cutting meat because the plate doesn’t move away from me.

I bought a roll at Walmart in the Kitchen section.

Pros:

  • Non-slip, can cut meat without having the plate slide around the table
  • Comes in a roll and can be cut to make different sizes
  • Can wash it in the sink or machine if it gets dirty
  • Provides protection from scratches

Cons:

  • No cons!
