This grill turned out to be super useful as an alternative to the stove top! Traditionally used for a meal similar to fondue, called Raclette, this is a wonderful addition to my kitchen for so many different dishes! 

Whether you don’t have a working stove or your mobility makes working on a stove top nearly impossible, this is a great solution. It heats up nicely with two types of surfaces (a grill/cook top and a stone). You can make anything from steak to omelettes! The small individual pans make it easy to make mini pancakes or a variety of egg dishes.  

I did have to adjust for the small openings on the corner of the cook top by creating a barrier with toast but this worked great for me otherwise!  

Update (3.5 months later)

Hello again! This is part two of the Raclette Grill! I have learned SO MUCH about it.

Everything sticks to the stone and there are diagonal cuts on each corner. As a wheelchair user, I can make breakfast. But plan where you place your eggs or they’ll drip out of the hole, and make a mess. Aim your eggs for the middle.

I made a medium steak that was flavorful and fully cooked! Although it took a minute, I don't have to worry if I can reach the stove!! I live in an apartment so no full-size grill. This changed my life and my fiancé is happy with all the cooking. -Ericka
