Two white pieces are each secured to a cabinet door, with a clear plastic piece stretching between them. Neither door can be opened without first detaching one end of the lock.
A white "lock" is attached to one side of a wooden cabinet. The one part of the lock is detached from the base of the lock.
The lock is keeping a single cabinet closed, as one part is fastened to the door of the cabinet and then the other part is stretched around to the side of the cabinet, keeping the lock taught.

Product Review by Jessica: (meet our team)

I never realized how many different kinds of baby locks there are on the market until I was looking for something to keep my cat out of the cabinets. There are U shaped ones, straps, strings, etc.

The Skyla Homes Baby Locks were the ones I found to be easier for me. They are very easy to use. They come in a pack of 8 or 12 and have 3M adhesive flexible straps. You can adjust the strap between 3-7 inches before attaching it to your cabinet. If you are anything like me, it takes a little bit of practice to get your fingers to work with the lock. Once you get it though, the locks work wonderfully!
