Note from Day Undefined:

Hannah notes that this is an expensive product, but one that she as a braille reader loves and finds indispensable. It is a Google certified braille tablet.

Product Review by Hannah H.: (meet our team)

  • How long I've been using this product: 1+ year

  • How often I use this product: Multiple times a day

  • My gut feeling: I love this product. I really don't know what I would do without it. It is just like an Android tablet, but with Braille. Once you flip the keyboard up, you will find the screen, and anyone with full eyesight can see what you're typing.

  • Why this product? I use my BrailleNote to read articles, look up topics I am interested in, and send emails. I also use the calculator to see how much money I have left after paying my credit card bill.
  • Pros: The BrailleNote Touch Plus is just like an Android tablet; it has Google-based apps; it has Bluetooth; you can send content to people nearby using Quick Share. I love being able to create Word documents and send emails.

  • Cons: It is very expensive (over $5,000). It freezes if there are too many ads on a website.

  • This product might be relevant for: Blind or visually impaired individuals
