A gift from a friend, I never would have thought to ask for a cup holder on my own but it is useful. The friend who sent it to me uses two crutches to get around, and the cup holder allows her to carry drinks without spilling them. You can slide your drink inside of the holder and carry it by a slim handle, instead of having to hold the drink. It left my hand and arm more free, with less chance for small spills when I lean over to one side while walking, or rebalance myself. It also remained steady while hanging from the back of my friend’s wheelchair.
