How long I’ve been using this product: A month
How often I use this product: Multiple times a day
My gut feeling: I am still thrilled with it
Pros: It takes hardly any pressure, basically just contact, to turn it on or off or change the brightness. Touching the lamp does cycle through off, low, medium, bright, and off again. It works to touch the lamp anywhere on the post, or the base, including the side or the top.
Cons: Depending on where you place the lamp, it might be difficult to reach. The lamp shade could be sturdier. If your hands shake then you might initially turn the light on and then accidentally to medium and or to high and then to off. You have to be very deliberate about touching the lamp to get whatever setting you need.
The lamp ROCKS! It works perfectly for me.
review update
I use this everyday and it lives on my bedside table. Easy to reach, easy to turn on. I love the adjustable dimmer ability of it. And it’s also got a plug and USB port on it. I often turn it on before I actually need it so I can have some light to navigate into my bedroom without having to turn the whole bedroom room light on.
