The Contigo Luxe Autoseal Mug (16 oz.) has a button that needs to be pushed to open the valve for drinking. It is designed to be leak- and spill-proof, and also features a “lock” button to secure the bottle in cases where the button might be accidentally pushed. It is dishwasher safe (although this is not recommended for all colors).

I still use it everyday. It works well. It’s metal so I could put essential oil drops in it but that doesn’t really go with coffee. It keeps my coffee hot. And it’s the perfect size for me for a cup of coffee and to go in the pockets of my backpack, which are easily accessible.
I actually have two of these. One to be washed in the dishwasher, and one being used. All of the functions are great….the valve, the locking button for extra non-spillage, the plain metal ones (not the coloured ones) are dishwasher safe, the small hole for drinking and not to mention keeping the coffee hot are all perfect!
