How long I’ve been using this product: A few months
How often I use this product: Once a week
My gut feeling: I love this diffuser. It feels like a drum, so sometimes, I like to pretend that I’m playing on it for fun. You fill the diffuser with essential oils, and then the oils disperse into the air through water. Whenever the water gets into the air, it feels humidified, and easier for me to breathe. I love the oils too! I have a studio apartment, and my space is so small that I can smell the oils from the bathroom! My favorite scents are Ocean Breeze, Tahitian Vanilla, Coconut Cream, Cabernet and Neroli, Strawberries and Champagne, and Amber Romance. Overall, I really love my Asakuki diffuser because it disperses moisture into the air, and the scents are so strong that I can smell them. Throughout my entire space!!!!!!
Why this product? The buttons are really big and easy to use. I’m totally blind, and I don’t have to see them to know which one is which. There is an on button, which, when pressed multiple times, allows you to run the diffuser for one, two, or three hours at a time. There is also a button that allows you to control the intensity of the mist, as well as a button where you can change colors from light to dark. The remote control enables you to perform these same functions, with a button that makes the diffuser run every 10 seconds. This is my most favorite feature!!!! You can buy the essential oils on Amazon through a seller called Eternal Essence Oils. You can also purchase them directly from the seller’s website at eternalessenceoils.com.
Pros: Far right button turns diffuser on and off, letting it run on 1, 2, or 3-hour cycles. The high/low button adjusts mist intensity. Another button enables color changes. The remote is very easy to grip, and its buttons are very easy to press. The buttons are small and circular.
Cons:You can only use the remote to make the diffuser run every 10 seconds. When the water becomes tepid, you have to dump it every 3 days, and then fill it back up again. You can only clean the diffuser out with vinegar, not dish soap (dish soap ruins the electrical components).

review update

April 2025

I no longer use my essential oil diffuser because maintaining it can be very tedious and time-consuming. For example, if I fail to use all of the water in one sitting, I have to pour it out, clean out the inside, and fill it back up again. Furthermore, the cleaning process is very regimented and specific. This means that I have to use vinegar instead of dish soap. I used dish soap every time I cleaned my diffuser, even though I knew I wasn’t supposed to. This ruined my device, and the water started to spray out of control. I found that out the hard way. In short, I no longer enjoy using my essential oil diffuser because it is very difficult to maintain, and the components get damaged very easily if I use the wrong cleaning solution. But it was my fault because I knew what to do, chose to do the opposite, and ignored the instructions.
