How long I’ve been using this product: A few months
How often I use this product: A couple times a week
My gut feeling: It works for us (Obi and I), but not a solution for all dogs.
Why this product? We got this and use it very sparingly, but Obi-Wan, my 90lb mutt, does really well. I tell him to “leave it” when he starts barking at the UPS, FedEX, or knocking or ringing the doorbell. And after 1 week of using the “sonic screwdriver” on him he only gives 1 warning bark and then really does “leave it”! Not sure if it would help others, but I was very impressed with how little it took to behavior change Obi-Wan!
review update
I still try to use it. I use it on occasion, and it is more useful inside now. Obi (my dog) is no longer very receptive to the “noise”. I want it to still work, but it doesn’t work as well. It worked well for the first month, but not as often now.
