Camping Lantern
video review
intro
Karen shares how she uses this lantern during power outages, but we encourage you to think about how lighting that is easy to transport and operate can be useful in everyday (or night) life, too. Most notably, this lantern turns on by simply pulling it out – no buttons necessary, unless you choose to use the flashlight or emergency light functions.

PROS:
LED
360 degree bright light
2 emergency modes
Flashlight mode
Water Resistant
16 Hours Of Continuous Runtime In Lantern Mode, 9 Hours Runtime In Flashlight Mode
CONS:
Requires 3 AA Batteries (Hint: check monthly and consider Duracell Plus batteries, which have a 12 year shelf life)
My recommendation:
I strongly encourage the use of some type of emergency lights, ready for use and easily to locate, in the instance of a power failure. It may even be wise to keep on your mobility device like a walker or wheelchair. Battery-powered lights are always preferred to candles, due to inherent safety issues with open flames, even when small.
review update
YES, I still use and like this product! Versatile with bottom magnets to stick securely to a vertical surface; also has flashlight and emergency flashing light function
