review by Lisa
I’m pretty funny in that the biggest positive about this backpack is that it holds my coffee and my water. Anybody who knows me knows I’ve got those all the time. Another pro about this backpack that I kind of mentioned in passing (in the video) but not directly was that somebody else can put it on their shoulders.
I still love this backpack even though there are cons – the pros certainly outweigh the cons! One other thing, when I have the backpack on my wheelchair, which is all the time, I can feel the straps against my back. I have a tall back cushion.”
Note: While Lisa has used hers for years, we did receive a comment from someone that their backpack broke after two months, so quality might be in question. Please check out recent reviews on Amazon when considering your purchase, as well as the return policy.
review update
This backpack never leaves the back of my wheelchair! Unless we’re in a hotel room or something like that or on the train. It works very well. Sometimes I wonder if there is a better way for me to adjust all the straps for it to be easier to access items in the backpack. Usually to get items out I need to sit down and turn my wheelchair around. Except for my cell phone and my water bottle / Contigo. My cell phone goes in one of the outside mesh pockets, and my water bottle / Contigo goes in the other outside mesh pockets which are very accessible. Honestly, those two pockets are the best thing about this backpack. Although recently I have started swimming and it does have a clear plastic waterproof pocket inside which helps a lot.
I still use this wheelchair bag backpack Every. Single. Day. It lives on my wheelchair. Funny enough, the two things I like best about it are the mesh pocket for my water bottle or travel cup and the other mesh pocket to hold my keys and little wallet and headphones very accessibly.
It’s got lots of little pockets where I have room for lots of designated items. It’s a good size backpack (and people are always kind enough to put any kind of purchases that I might make) inside the backpack.
