Years later, a phone lanyard is still Liam’s preferred way to keep his phone securely within reach and to prevent dropping it. That said, not every lanyard that he has used has been a good one (even leading him to stop using a lanyard for awhile); he currently uses one by the brand Torras and is happy with it.

Liam previously used the Outxe brand but switched to the Torras brand, which he feels is sturdier.
This is a product that enables the user to carry their cellphone on them as a bracelet, necklace, or lanyard. Although it can be a little complicated to set up and might require assistance, it works with most phones/cases.
Pros:
- It is held in place between the phone and case – no sticker or adhesive required in assembly.
- Phone can be worn and is always within reach; it does not need to be kept in a pocket or held awkwardly on your lap.
- Material is sturdy and strap is adjustable (depending on the brand you choose)
- Pads are included for multiple devices or if one breaks (Liam uses two pads/tabs to attach the lanyard)
Cons:
- Assistance may be required with assembly.
- Strap must be adjusted so the user does not sit on or otherwise interfere with it.
- The phone is held upside-down and since the charging port is open, weather or falling debris could get in.
- The lanyard strap may feel cheap depending on the brand.
- The user needs to be careful the strap does not get in the way of other activities or transferring
- Some users say their case does not fit as snuggly with it in – or in other instances, the case might bulge a little.
- If lanyard interferes with charging port, might need to switch to wireless charging.

I don’t use this anymore because the part that sits in the case bent and came out. Also, personally, I wasn’t liking it as much anymore, because it would frequently get in the way – especially when I would bend over to pick something up.
Liam is using his phone lanyard again. He says that compared to other options, it really still is the best way to keep his phone securely near to him and to prevent drops.
But here is his PRO TIP: Instead of only using one tab in the phone to secure the lanyard, use TWO. Liam has found that having two hooks for the lanyard ensures added security for the attachment. However, this might also slightly obstruct the charging port, so Liam uses wireless charging options.
